The British Toy & Hobby Association has welcomed feedback to this year's Toy Industry Awards and says this will help shape the next event.
The news comes following the toy industry's call for an Awards shake-up.
The BTHA's committee has taken on board the feedback and is now in discussions regarding the format and location for 2013 Toy Industry Awards, which will take place early next year.
"The Toy Industry Awards 2012 which took place in January were moved to Olympia’s Upper West Hall to run alongside Toy Fair 2013 as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations," said Matthew Jones, BTHA's Head of Member and Special Events.
"Each year we welcome feedback - both from attendees and the wider industry - which is taken on board and discussed by a committee made up of senior industry professionals to help shape the future of the event to provide the best format, location and value for money.
"We will be looking to create the right event for the industry in 2014 and so all the feedback helps shape next years event.
"The BTHA consults with our colleagues at the Toy Retailers Association who judge the Toy and Supplier of the Year categories. The Toy Industry Awards is an important date in the industry calendar and it is designed to be a celebration of the success and all that is good about the industry."
