UK bedding brand, The Fine Bedding Company, has launched a new website to boost online sales and help it achieve ambitious growth in 2014.
The website, which has been designed and built by Manchester-based digital agency, Studio North, follows a full rebrand and the launch of first-to-market bagged packaging (versus boxes) in September this year. The Fine Bedding Company is also being supported by an integrated marketing campaign following the appointment of Cheshire-based PR and social media agency, The PR Boutique.
While the initial design launches this week, the website's first task will be to support the brand's January sale, which starts on Boxing Day.
Part of Trendsetter Home Furnishings – a £16.3m turnover, fourth-generation British business – The Fine Bedding Company boasts more than 100 years of innovation behind its technically-advanced, synthetic-filled bedding products, mattress toppers and top-of-the-range natural goose down duvets and pillows.
The brand launched 11 years ago, and has a strong retail presence with its shop-in-shop concessions in selected House of Fraser branches and independent stores throughout the UK.
Managing director of The Fine Bedding Company, Claire Watkin, says: "We have invested a huge amount in the brand this year - with a new logo, brand look and feel, packaging, new products and now website – and we are confident that this will help us to deliver an even stronger brand reputation and increase sales faster than ever before.
"While we wanted to maintain a high level of branded content, conveying our lovers of a great night's sleep and sleep expert propositions, it was important that the new site helped us capitalise on the huge opportunity selling online gives us and balance emotional messages with functionality. We've also been able to offer free post and packaging on all UK orders and ensure excellent delivery options right from the start."
