Dickson Furniture Named Mike Bradshaw as Vice President of Merchandising

Industry veteran Mike Bradshaw has joined Dickson Furniture International as vice president of merchandising.

He fills a position vacated by Rodney Tippit, who left the company earlier this year for an upholstery merchandising role at furniture, electronics and appliances retailer Conn's in Texas.

Bradshaw most recently was vice president of product development at case goods and upholstery resource Largo International, which he joined in 2004. Earlier, he was a general manager at Foley's Department Stores in Houston and Austin, Texas.

Bradshaw also previously managed the Louis Shanks furniture store in Houston and was a buyer for Finger Furniture in Houston and a buyer and vice president at Woodcraft Furniture in Tulsa, Okla.

At Dickson, Bradshaw reports to Doug Mueller, president and CEO. He will oversee a variety of areas including product design and development for Dickson and sister company Pinnacle Furniture, which company parent Dickson Inds. acquired this spring.

Bradshaw also will oversee quality control compliance, along with the company's catalog and showroom in High Point.
