The firm is marking this special day by offering a month long promotion of 25 per cent discount on its Wasgij and Falcon puzzle brands.
For those of you who haven't pieced it together, today is National Puzzle Day.
And Jumbo Games is marking this special day by offering a month long promotion of 25 per cent discount on its Wasgij and Falcon puzzle brands.
Born from humble beginnings almost three centuries ago, the puzzle - designed in 1760 - was the brain child of a British engraver and map maker called John Spilsbury, created as a teaching aid for students learning geography.
Jumbo games jumped on board with the new craze in 1853 and has since 'pioneered to create new concepts and ways or fans to puzzle.'
To help keep the heritage of puzzling alive, retailers will be running offers on their Wasgij and Falcon ranges for one month, commencing form today, January 29th.
The promotion will continue to the end of February while retailers taking part in the celebration include Amazon, WHSmith, The Entertainer, Hobbycraft, Notcutts, Argos and Tesco.
