ESS Technologies, a provider of complete packaging line design, and Xyntek-Antares have entered into a collaboration agreement to develop a track & trace case packing system.
Under the agreement, the new ESS Technologies TaskMate Robotic Case Erector/Loader will be integrated with the Xyntek-Antares Turn-key Serialization solution.
Xyntek-Antares Turn-key Serialization solution features the Antares Tracking System software and the Omnivision 360 degree Bottle Tracking System.
The system allows pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers to automate the case packing process; as well as to provide unit serialization and track & trace technology for all of the products being case packed.
Xyntek president and chief executive officer Mac Hashemian said through ESS Technologies, the company is unveiling the product at Interphex NY conference and exhibition which will be held at New York from 23-25 April 2013.
