With plenty of demand for larger units, Gadani buyers spent another frustrating week on the sidelines having to content themselves with the only available tonnage on hand that is handy size bulkers, panamax bulkers, passenger ships, containers etc all of which generally do not fit their favored vessel profile.
Indeed, the only deal from last week saw the ideal WC Indian candidate an ABS class full spares panamax bulker OSTSEE MERCHANT fixed to Pakistani buyers, perhaps in a show of desperation!
Indeed, most of the larger LDT Indian sub continent candidates coming from East to West are ending up in Bangladeshi hands. For the time being, Pakistan will either have to switch focus onto those vessels available, or hold out for their ideal candidates to hit the market.
