An automated denim production line, producing nearly 100 pieces per hour, will be set up at the forthcoming international B2B event for denim manufacturers InDIGO 2013, to be held in New Delhi, India, this month.
The fully operational, high-tech, on-site denim jeans manufacturing line will showcase its humongous production capacity of producing several ready-to-wear pieces within minutes in front of the visiting delegates.
The line will be launched in collaboration with VI.BE.MAC and Italy-based Turel Group along with the extensive support of domestic industry leaders like Oswal and Modern for fabrics, Germany’s Groz Beckert for needles, YKK for zippers, Preet Buttons for buttons and rivets as well as Chaudhary Labels for tags and labels.
Scheduled to take place on April 19 and 20, 2013, the second edition of South Asia’s one and only denim trade event InDIGO 2013 will feature more than 25 exhibitors.
Organized by Denim Club India (DCI), the exhibition will offer an unmatched opportunity for the denim mills, brands and suppliers from all around the world to feature their products.
Expected to attract nearly 1000 visitors this year, the event is expected to cover all aspects of denim value chain, ranging from fibre to finished products.
Other than the physical display of denim-based products and technologies, concurrent conference and interactive sessions will also be conducted on the sidelines of the event.
