German closures manufacturer Bericap has developed a new two piece closure for the edible oil and vinegar markets.
The new CTC IP fits the neck 29/2, which is said to attract consumers with its shiny surface.
Bericap has equipped the closure with an integrated hinge. The 1-pc press-on hinge closure is suitable for a 29/21 PET neck or adequate glass neck.
Its tear-off band can be opened in two directions, an advantage to both right and left handed consumers.
The pourer is installed with a tear-off seal for reliable tamper evidence. Once opened, the hinged lid can be opened up to 180 degrees and a non-drip pouring lip avoids dripping of product after pouring.
According to the company, one of the leading private label vinegar producers decided to use HC EV 29/21 for their main product, a vinegar essence (25% acidity).
Bericap produces a range of products, including plastic caps such as CTC IP, HC EV 29/21.
