Hasbro Studio's latest series will air in on the channel in Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Cartoon Network has acquired the rights to air Hasbro Studio's Transformers: Robots in Disguise series in the US, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Variety reports that the show will debut on the channel this year and will see Optimus Prime summon Bumblebee to lead a rag-tag team of Autobots against a range of Decepticon villains.
“We are thrilled to have expanded our ongoing international relationship with Cartoon Network, freeing them to unleash our Transformers characters to the entire world starting early this year,” said Hasbro’s chief content officer, Stephen Davis.
“Fans everywhere will now be able to experience the humor, fun, adventure and cooler, lighter, brighter animated style that our Autobots and Decepticons deliver as we open up the next storytelling chapter in this beloved franchise.”
