Italian textile firms are rapidly making their way in the Chinese market, which can be seen from the rapid rise in the number of Italian exhibitors at the China International Apparel Fabrics and Accessories (Spring) Expo, held from March 27 to 29, 2013.
About 95 Italian fabric companies participated for the first time in Beijing exhibition last year. In the subsequent Shanghai edition, the participation of Italian companies rose by 35 percent to 124.
The recent Beijing edition saw participation of 129 Italian textile enterprises that were eager to make more money from Chinese markets.
The Italy Textile Fabric Show in the museum of Milano Unica became the focus area for audience in Beijing Fabric Exhibition of the three-day China International Apparel Fabrics and Accessories (Spring) Expo. In the pavilion, the quality and fashion of Italian products were fully displayed and it also opened a golden road leading to the Chinese market for Italian fabric suppliers.
The rapid increase in the number of Italian menswear and womenswear fabric makers participating in the Chinese exhibitions shows that Italian firms are successfully making their mark in the Chinese market, according to experts.
