Colombia-based vertical fabric manufacturer Textiles Fabricato Tejicóndor S.A. recently installed two finishing ranges from Germany-based Fong's Europe GmbH's Goller brand as part of a project to upgrade its facilities in order to increase production, improve quality and reduce production costs.
Over a period of several years, Fabricato has replaced existing machinery and equipment with 105 state-of-the-art weaving machines in addition to weaving preparation equipment, finishing ranges and other equipmenrt. From Fong's, the company ordered one Goller Complexa continuous bleaching range and one Goller Colora Pad Steam continuous dyeing range.
Fabricato installed the Goller Colora range in combination with a Monforts Thermosol range, and was very pleased with the result. "The improved quality performance compared with the older pad steam was immediately recognized," said Project Manager Carlos Alberto Rueda.
