Pro Mach’s subsidiary IPak is set to introduce new automatic tray former for produce packers at this year’s Pack Expo event in the US.
The event will take place from 25 to 27 in Las Vegas.
The new IPak TF-330GH tray former can be used for greenhouse produce, field-grown produce, baked goods, and other products packed in trays.
Featuring advanced technology and long wearing components, IPak’s new tray former holds capacity to form trays at up to 40 units-per-minute.
The new machine can form a wide assortment of trays in small to large sizes, comprising of all formats of Euro-style, multi-use box (MUB) tray, as well as four-corner and four-corner with snap-lock lid.
IPak TF-330GH tray former includes sealed-for-life servo drive for the mandrel and nickel-plated chains. It also offers convenient access to internal components.
The tray former also features quick-change color-coded components and advanced navigation of the human machine interface (HMI), which will help to effectively run different tray styles and maintain high productivity.
IPak TF-330GH includes Allen-Bradley CompactLogix seven-inch touchscreen HMI, and other controls, in addition to independently controlled and self-cleaning vacuum picking systems for better handling of blanks.
The new machine can be incorporated with IPak TS-100 empty tray stacker to maintain packing lines with ample trays.
Designed and built in North America, the TF-330GH operates on 240-volt three-phase electricity,, helping to avoid the need for special power requirements.
