The shop has been celebrated by the team for its dedication to child-focused events both in-store and as part of the Cheshire farm’s attractions.
Run by sisters, Jane Holtom and Sue Dale the toyshop only opened in November 2013, but has already established itself as the local toyshop for the people of Congleton.
The store caters for children of all ages with pocket money lines, branded toys and gifts and souvenirs for day-trippers visiting the farm.
Furthermore, the Cheshire Toy Shop was also home to South Cheshire’s first Brio Road Show this Easter with session opens to the public, encouraging children and adults to play and construct a large Brio rail track in the courtyard outside of the store.
Dr. Amanda Gummer of Fundamentally Children, said: “It is so nice to see a local toyshop thriving outside of a town environment, somewhere that offers days out for children, event for schools and holiday clubs, as well as involves parents and adults wherever possible.
"The sisters are always on hand for a spot of suitable, friendly advice on all the products stocked and a selection of toys on display for kids to play with.
"Congratulations to Jane and Sue for achieving so much in a short amount of time, another well deserved Retailer of the Month.”
