Documents from United States Senate revealed expenses of USD 330,000 for ZTE Corporation (SEHK: 0763 and SZSE: 000063) to lobby United States Congress, more than tripling from USD 80,000 a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the US House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence has included the Chinese telecom equipment supplier in a blacklist in its released reports. ZTE hoped to snatch more share in the US market, declining to make comments on the increase of lobbying expenses.
