To ensure safety of lithium battery, several standards are published such as UN38.3, GB/T18287-2013. But those standards aer not completely accuracy for power bank. Thus, publishing a enforcing standard for power bank is necessary and urgent.
The China National Standardization Management Committee has published the compulsory standard named 《Lithium ion cells and batteries used in portable electronic equipments―Safety requirements》. It will be put into implementation from August 1, 2015.Now, CQC has accepted standard certification of GB31241-2014.
