2015 China International Electronic Commerce Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Electronic Commerce Expo) opened at Yiwu International Expo Center of Zhejiang province on April 11.
Those who attended the opening ceremony are the Vice Governor of Zhejiang province Liang Liming, the President of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce Qu Weizhi, the Director of the Committee of Experts on Domestic Trade Huang Hai, the President of China Marketing Association Gao Tiesheng and the Vice President Li Jianzhong, the Chief Advisor of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing Ding Junfa, the Secretary of the Party Committee of China International Electronic Commerce Cente Yao Guanghai, the Deputy Director of the Department of Electronic Commerce and Informatization of the Ministry of Commerce Nie Linhai, Deputy Director of the Department of Trade and External Economic Relations Statistics of National Bureau Statistics Lu Shan, the Standing Vice President of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce Wang Ning, the Standing Vice President of China Association of Employment Promotion Wang Xizan, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Jinhua Municipality Xu Jiaai and Mayor of Jinhua Municipality Ji Junmin. The Secretary of the Party Committee of Yiwu Municipality Li Yifei delivered the welcome speech at the opening ceremony.
The Electronic Commerce Expo was guided by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, sponsored by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, and jointly supported by China International Electronic Commerce Center, China Electronics Chamber of Commerce and the People’s Government of Yiwu Municipality. The Expo has 2,218 international standard booths, covers 50,000 square meters, with 1,031 enterprises from 10 countries including the U.S., Britain, Russia, ROK and 18 provinces attending it, gathering the leading enterprises and elites of the industry of electronic commerce home and abroad.
During the Expo, the Summit Forum on the Reform of Electronic Commerce and Circulation and the Annual Meeting of China Distribution 30 Forum (G30) was held, hosted by G30 and the Yiwu municipal government, and sponsored by China International Electronic Commerce Center , with the government, institutes and enterprises jointly discussing “New Normal, New Power and New Circulation”. A total of 700 people attended the meeting , including leaders from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Bureau of Statistics, the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing and the local commercial departments, experts of G30, and guests from Alibaba Group and Jingdong Group China’s Electronic Commerce Development Index, guided by the Ministry of Commerce and introduced by China International Electronic Commerce Center, was issued at the meeting. More than 10 national electronic commerce model cities and bases launched the “Innovation Alliance of Government Service of Electronic Commerce” at the meeting. The famous anchor of finance and economics of Phoenix TV Zeng Jingyi presided over the forum.
At the same period, activities including 2015 China (Yiwu) International Electronic Commerce Conference, 2015 China (Yiwu) Electronic Commerce Talents Festival, 2015 Qingyanliu Carnival of Electronic Commerce, the first International Micro Business Meeting and the second Venture Competition of Micro Business, and the seventh annual meeting of China telecommunication (TV, network and mobile) industry and the announcement ceremony of the Evaluation Standards of Electronic Transaction Qualification were also held.
As a national e-commerce expo, the expo is another international top exhibition after the World Internet Conference, and also an important platform for therelated industries and enterprises to seek for e-commerce cooperation. The holding of the Expo is of great influence to creating an open and integrated e-commerce environment and promoting the development of China’s e-commerce and plays a demonstrative and leading role, which makes China not only possess the discourse power in Internet rule making but also lead the world development in internet application.
