Renault-Nissan alliance has reported the global sales of 8,101,310 vehicles sold in 2012, a 1% rise compared to the sales in 2011.
The sale includes the 2,550,286 units sold worldwide by the Renault group in 2012 down by 6.3% , 4,940,133 units sold by Nissan up by 5.8% and a 5.5% decrease in sales by AVTOVAZ to 610,891units sold in 2012 compared to sales of 2011.

"Thanks to the American rebound and strong demand in emerging markets, we maintained our market share and are very well positioned in global growth markets," Ghosn added.
