National Paint Industries has purchased the assets of the Petri Paint Company of Newark, New Jersey. Petri, established in 1963 is a manufacturer of clear finishes for the hardwood flooring industry.
National will continue to manufacture all Petri products including the full line of water based, oil modified, and moisture curing polyurethanes as well as the full line of quick drying sealers at its facility in North Brunswick, New Jersey.

National Paint Industries, established in 1959 manufactures a broad line of specialty coatings for the pleasure and commercial marine, hardwood flooring, swimming pool, and industrial maintenance markets with nationwide distribution under the Harco, Bluewater, Garco, and Wilson Imperial brand names
