Bruce Foods Is Recalling Food Club Red Enchilada Sauce Over Allergy Risk

Bruce Foods, a US-based privately owned food manufacturer, is recalling Food Club Red Enchilada Sauce over allergy risk.

The company noted that the sauce labeled as Food Club Red Enchilada Sauce may contain Green Enchilada Sauce instead of Red Enchilada Sauce. It contains wheat and soy, which is not mentioned on the label.

The product associated with the recall is canned 10 oz size Food Club Red Enchilada Sauce bearing code GES 462449 with a Best Before Date 12 March 2016.

This recalled product was distributed between 15 January 2013 and 28 January 2013 across Virginia, Minnesota and Indiana. The product reached the consumer through retail stores.

No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall. Consumers who have purchased the recalled product are requested to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Consumption of this product may cause allergic reaction in people allergic of sensitive to wheat and soy.
