Effective February 1, 2013, Petrus Ng will be appointed as the new Managing Director of BASF Vietnam Co Ltd. He succeeds Jirawat Thongbai, who will take over the position of Director, Care Chemicals, at BASF in Thailand.
Ng started his career with BASF in 1990, and has held several key management positions in Malaysia and Singapore. He currently is responsible for Strategy and Projects for the Care Chemicals Business in Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong.
Ng holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia.
