Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions will introduce new accident insurance plans on 01 May 2013, aimed to enhance services to its policyholders.
Trustmark Product Development assistant vice president Julie Pohjola said that the company also aims to provide a product with significant benefit for the policyholders that are likely to need in the event of an accident.
"Our goal was to stand out, and not just to provide policies that match all of our competition," Pohjola added.
The plan comes after Trustmark identified that a majority of its claims contained the same 10 services.
A total of 13 services comprised 97% of all claims in addition to the top three hospital services.
A division of Trustmark Companies, Trustmark Voluntary Benefit Solutions specializes in payroll-deducted voluntary benefits, including life, critical illness, disability, and accident.
