Ericsson Increased TD-LTE Input to Improve the Equipment Bidding Share

Ma Zhihong Ericsson chairman of China said during the Mobile World Congress 2013 that Ericsson has done all the preparatory work for China Mobile TD-LTE to expand the next stage of the network equipment tender, the share had increased compared to expectations.

China Mobile launched about 20000 base TD-LTE scale test network equipment bidding in 13 cities in 2012, View from the results of the tender, the domestic equipment manufacturers accounted for the vast majority of the share, and foreign equipment manufacturers share, including Ericsson, is still relatively small.

Ma Zhihong believes that despite the TD-LTE and FDD LTE is still not mature enough, but the effort of promoting the mature of TD-LTE industry chain was shocking, by the end of this year, the industry will see a development tendency of TD-LTE better.
