Data harmonization and data management company Liaison Healthcare has introduced a new service solution suite to securely store, retrieve and share patient documentation across multiple care venues in real-time.
The solution, Patient Document Repository (PDR), provides real-time access to patient documentation in both structured and unstructured formats and ensures that the most up-to-date patient information is available to support clinical decisions.
PDR also serves as a central location from which healthcare organizations can aggregate and maintain control over information within the EHR systems.
Liaison Healthcare healthcare solutions vice president Gary Palgon said the company needed a cloud-based PDR solution that helps providers create comprehensive electronic health records necessary for delivering value-based care.
"By leveraging the cloud for the storage and retrieval of patient documents and other data, organizations will be able to maintain longitudinal records for more and more patients as they move toward new care models and health information exchange," Palgon added.
