German sports car manufacturer Porsche has reported 21% rise in its global vehicle sales during August 2012 to 10,912 vehicles compared to the same month in 2011.
During the month, Porsche sold 1,559 units of the new 911 model, 850 units of Boxster and 6,331 Cayenne vehicles.
The carmaker reported highest sales in China by selling 2,882 vehicles citing a 28.4% rise over the earlier year period.
Porsche Sales and Marketing Executive Board member Bernhard Maier said, "Currently, the automotive markets are developing quite differently: uncertainty in Europe, competitive pressures in China, confidence in the U.S., growth in the Middle East and South-East Asia."
The German carmaker is planning to unveil its Carrera 4 and the Carrera 4S at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show to be held in France.
