Lexus Has Revved up Its Luxury Hybrid Model 2016 Es 300h

Lexus, the luxury vehicle arm of Japanese automotive major Toyota, has revved up its luxury hybrid model 2016 ES 300h that flaunts a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine fitted with an electric motor generating 200hp.

Capable of running both on gas engine or electric motor, the new avatar has Hybrid System Indicator that gives inputs to the driver about use of energy and efficient driving habits.

The ES 300h also puts up an EPA fuel economy ratings of 40 mpg city / 39 mpg highway / 40 mpg combined, along with, the ability to refuel at any gasoline station.

The vehicle has four driving modes - Normal, Sport, Eco and EV - of which the Sport mode changes the gauge cluster lighting to a fiery red and substitutes the Hybrid System Indicator with a tachometer.

On the safety front, the vehicle is armed with 10 airbags, Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with Steering Assist, Intelligent High Beam (IHB) and High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control swings into action at speeds over 25 mph, by assessing the speed of vehicle travelling ahead and help control the speed automatically.

Besides, the automaker has introduced 2016 Scion iM, with a 137 horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine uses Valvematic continuously variable valve timing.
