Elstra is making a play at the $120 billion-a-year health industry with the creation of a business that will help connect healthcare professionals with patients over broadband and mobile networks.
The unit, which comes under the remit of customer service boss Gordon Ballantyne, will see Telstra partner with healthcare authorities and providers to deliver services direct into patients' homes.
