iGuzzini has announced a turnover of almost EUR 200 million for the 2013 financial year – an increase of 8 per cent compared to 2012.
EBITDA at the Italian manufacturer (earnings before interest, tax, depreciations and amortization) were EUR 22 million, up 19 per cent on the previous financial year.

The company suggested that the improved results could be attributed to the consolidation of its export business, its commitment to research and development and increased efficiencies in its manufacturing processes.
62.3 per cent of revenue at the firm is now derived from products launched within the last five years while LED sales were responsible for 45 per cent of turnover.
“I think we can say that these economic statistics indicate that we have weathered the storm and are now moving in the right direction. It is our human resources that we have to thank for this achievement, as they have always worked together, as a team, and with the utmost professionalism,” said company president Adolfo Guzzini.
