Information from Baosteel Co., Ltd. digifax follow-up meeting held recently. From 2013 to 2018, Baosteel Co., Ltd. would fulfill 70 tasks centering on five major areas of metallurgy, rolling, heating and cooling, energy conservation and environment protection, production management to realize two comprehensive objectives at long last: transforming from assimilation and following of modeling technique to surpassing and leadership; maintaining utmost mastery of modeling control and autonomous development in the industry. To implement work of the scheme, Baosteel Co., Ltd. would focus on follow-up of ten tasks this year.
Baosteel Co., Ltd. formulated 2013-2018 scheme of digifax development based on real situation in five major areas. During the next six years, Baosteel Co., Ltd. would follow up on development of digifax techniques to realize five specific objectives: enhancing back-up capacity by product niches; enhancing back-up standard with product stability; realizing technical breakthrough in energy conservation and environment protection modeling; facilitating production by using modeling core technology; building up cross-functional core talent pool in digifax.
To fulfill tasks in the scheme and realize designated objectives, Baosteel Co., Ltd. formulated eight technical and managerial safeguard measures: enhancing comprehensive competitiveness with products as main stringing threads through niche production, energy-saving, consumption reduction; enhancing product quality by fully strengthening refinement of modeling techniques and autonomous control; expanding areas of modeling, further deepening work on management models, basic automation modeling, isotopic etc. testing modeling; paying special attention to accumulation of modeling techniques to facilitate serialization of modeling products in complete set; establishing and strengthening technical teams of difficulty tackling based on functionality; improving and optimizing enhancement mechanism in modeling companies and different departments; firmly carrying forward modeling technique assessment and management evaluation; fostering top-notch modeling talents across different functionalities and areas.
To implement the six-year scheme, Baosteel Co.. Ltd. would focus on carrying forward ten tasks this year, ie. designing and implementing follow-up modeling centering on teams in different areas with big projects as carriers; systematizing R&D process control modeling techniques to support niched competition centering on key products and with projects as carriers; continuing research on energy consumption models in different areas through low-cost and low-consumption; facilitating back-up capacity of modeling control techniques, with special attention on research of new products and new techniques in combination with APQP; enhancing product quality by fully strengthening refinement of modeling techniques and autonomous control; expanding areas of modeling, further deepening work on management models, basic automation modeling, isotopic etc. testing modeling; implementing R&D and application of production management modeling; firmly carrying forward modeling technique assessment and management evaluation; focusing on accumulation and breakthrough of modeling techniques, designing and implementing commercialized production and systematization of modeling techniques in different areas; further enhancing work of technique integration, trading, back-up projects, talent cultivation and training.
