California based driver risk management company Lytx has introduced its DC Protect in the UK which is a fleet management solution designed to meet the needs of mid sized fleet owners.
DC Protect is an optimized solution that consists of simple, self-service tools that will facilitate fleets with fewer than 350 vehicles to improve safety and protect drivers.
The new solution is designed based upon the insights the company gained from delivering its flagship Lytx DriveCam Programme, and it also uses Lytx Safety Score, which is capable of predicting a driver's probability of being involved in a future collision based upon the driving patterns.
With the in-vehicle video recorder, DC protect can capture events and analyze behavior, and provide fleet managers with real-time feedback to help keep drivers safe.
DC Protect is also designed helps identify and manage the coaching of those drivers who would benefit from performance improvement.
