Port Stephens Council has approved a development application for a $2 million Officeworks super store at Raymond Terrace in New South Wales.
The application was lodged in November and was approved last week subject to conditions.
The new Officeworks store will operate from 36 Carmichael Street with frontage onto 31 Port Stephens Street - one of the town's fastest growing commercial retail strips.
The proposed complex comprises a 2600 square metre block with a gross floor area of 1530 square meters with a 57 car spaces provided underground and to one side of the building.
The new store will create 17 full-time and 10 part-time positions.
Officeworks has around 140 stores nationally.
