Hyundai Motor Will Issue Its New Concept Car at The 2014 Geneva Motor Show

South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor is set to reveal its new concept car, Intrado, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland.

Manufactured from a mixture of advanced materials, Intrado features a super-lightweight structure, and a next-generation hydrogen fuel cell drivetrain that is both smaller and lighter.

Additional features of the car include the latest iteration of Hyundai's design language, Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. Intrado will be styled and engineered primarily at Hyundai Motor European R&D centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

Hyundai Motor Group president & CDO Peter Schreyer said that Hyundai Intrado envisages a motoring future that encapsulates the efficiency and freedom associated with flying.

"Intrado shows that future cars can be both relevant and exciting," Schreyer added.

Earlier in October 2013, the South Korean automaker unveiled the first image renderings of soon-to-be-launched Genesis Premium Sedan.

The company initiated the project with an investment of KRW500bn, to develop a world-class premium rear-wheel drive sedan. It worked on for four years to develop the current version. Genesis is the first model to incorporate Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0.
