CP-Meiji Has Been Granted 'carbon Footprint' Label as The First Dairy Product Manufacturer

Thailand-based CP-Meiji announced that the company has been granted 'Carbon Footprint' label as the first dairy product manufacturer to have environmental guarantee on the products.

CP-Meiji managing director Prasit Boonduangprasert said the company's milk products, yoghurt and drinking yoghurt have been granted the environmental safe label.

The label has been granted to company's ten product items initially, which included mixed-burry, coconut jelly, strawberry and mixed fruit yoghurt at 140g container.

The products also include Paigen drinking yoghurt 140g, fresh 200mg, chocolate milk 450m, zero fat milk 830g, Meiji gold milk 946mg and low-fat milk 2liter size.

According to the company, the 'Carbon Footprint' label will enable the consumers to learn more on manufacturing cycle whether the production creates CO2 emissions, allowing to encourage all concerned parties to help reduce CO2 emission.
