A new company based in Minneapolis is resuming sales of LeMond bike trainers to the IBD market and consumer direct.

Last fall LeMond Fitness, then based near Seattle, Washington, sold its stationary bike business to Hoist Fitness, a California fitness industry supplier.

While Hoist is selling LeMond Revmaster and G-Force stationary bikes, the new company apparently is marketing the trainers, including the Revolution trainer model LeMond introduced at Interbike in 2010.

"Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN we are building a team that will execute and bring innovative products to the market but equally important we expect to bring world class branding to the company, world class marketing, sales, and service to the consumer and the IBD market around the LeMond Revolution product," is how the new venture was described in an outdoorindustryjobs.com listing. The company was advertising for an inside sales and service rep at its Minneapolis headquarters.

BRAIN was unable to reach anyone at the Minnesota company who could speak about it on the record. Repeated attempts to reach Greg LeMond also have been unsuccessful, and Hoist CEO Jeff Partrick did not return a phone call from BRAIN.

The new company's website offers LeMond products direct to consumers, offering the LeMond Revolution with a Shimano cassette for $699. The site also contains a link to a company email for wholesale inquiries.
