According to comScore company's investigation, Apple ranked first in America's smart phone market. As one of his competitors, Samsung 's mobile phone market share has increased. Up to May, there are 138.5 million smart-phone users and the number increase by 7% compared with that of Jan. Apple has a 39.2% market penetration and a 1.4% growth, ranking first. Samsung has a 22.0% market penetration and its market share increased by 0.6%. Samsung ranked second, followed by HTC, Motomla and LG.
From the point of cellphone operatiing system, Google Android has a 50% market share, ranking first. On the contrary, market share of Apple's iOS smart-phone increased from 34.3 of last autumn to 39.2%.
Despite launching new operating system, Blackberry and Microsoft were not able to rise in smart-phone market. Microsoft's market share decline by 0.1% to 3.0% and Blackberry's declined from 5.9% to 5.1%.
