Hyundai Mobis announced recently, the company has already started to produce hydrogen fuel cell key car parts on large scale.
The fuel cell vehicle production model of Hyundai ix35 has stopped production in South Korea's Ulsan factory in the second half of February. Hyundai Motor also became the first automaker to produce zero emissions of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles on large scale all over the world. The company plans to sell this model about 1,000 in the world by 2015.
Hyundai Mobis said, the company has started to produce driving motor, Lithium-ion battery, and other auto parts on large scale for fuel cell vehicle ix35.
Lee Bong-hwan, the vice president of Hyundai Mobis, said: “By the cooperation with Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Mobis produced auto parts applied in fuel cell electric vehicle successfully. We will continue to invest money on the production of environmental protection type automobile parts.”
