Garden Fresh Foods is recalling about 19,054 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken and ham products, as they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.
The withdrawal is in association with a recall regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Products regulated by the FSIS feature the establishment number 'EST. 17256' or 'Est. P-17256' inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The products being recalled include Market Pantry All White Meat Chicken Salad, Archer Farms Rotisserie Chicken Salad, Archer Farms Bacon Parmesan Dip, D'Amico and Sons Chicken Salad with Rosemary, D'Amico and Sons Chicken & Dried Cherry Pasta, D'Amico and Sons Ranch Pasta Salad with Chicken, Spinach & Bacon, Finest Traditions Ham Salad Spread, Garden Fresh Ham Salad with Sweet Relish and Weis Ham Salad.
The affected product codes include 24103, 002216, 99017, 1010254, 101216, 101223, 100240, 100233, 388648, 6163 and 05334.
Products in the recall were distributed to retail and food service establishments across the country.
The problem was identified through microbiological testing at the facility by FDA.
FDA, FSIS and Garden Fresh Foods have received no reports of illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
