EnWave has signed a deal with CD Process, a North American technology company that addresses the ingredient processing requirements of the global food industry.
The agreement strengthens EnWave's sales network for Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) technology, while partnering with a business entity comprising food industry veterans that have a wider technology, R&D and sales and marketing expertise.
CD's key personnel will have a high level of experience and proficiency working with REV technology, due to a very close working relationship with EnWave.
The company will pursue commercial opportunities for REV technology through its existing food industry contacts. It will have access to nutraREV technology to conduct product development work for various potential clients throughout the US.
CD will eventually establish a centralized toll processing facility, including licensed REV technology for specific applications to cater to clients in the food and nutraceutical industries.
EnWave chairman and co-CEO Tim Durance said that the management of CD Process is extremely qualified to work as an extension of our business development efforts.
"It is EnWave's immediate goal to significantly increase its agent and sales network in order to increase the commercialization of REV technology in several established market sectors including meat, cheese, fruit, vegetables, enzymes and spice product areas," Durance added.
