European packaging producer Greiner Packaging International has designed new cup container for French dairy firm Senoble for its strawberry yogurt product Delisse Yaourt au lait entire.
The unique design and shatterproof properties of the new container are claimed to meet the highest demands for premium products.
Compared to other ordinary glass packages, the PP container with 125g is highly stable, unbreakable and light, noted Greiner.
According to the company, the lower third of the round and conical shape of the container is broken up by protrusions, which resemble mountain peaks.
Greiner Packaging International Kavo division head Günter Ausserwger said the new premium packaging for Senoble is being produced through a blow molding process using special equipment.
"This type of production allows us to combine highly refined process knowledge with our expertise in the dairy product market in the best way possible," Ausserwger added.
Greiner has manufactured the new container packaging in the production facility in Rastatt, Germany, which is around 150km from Senoble in Chateau Salins, where the containers are filled.
Both the firms have conducted first joint packaging projects in France and employed wide variety of technologies throughout the process.
