The company posted a net loss of INR2.57 billion for the fourth quarter of 2012, largest than the loss of INR1.52 billion in a quarter ago and loss of INR1.1 billion in the same quarter of the previous year.
In the given period of time, the Indian largest stainless steel producer realized sales revenues of INR25.84 billion, rising by 4.9% from a quarter ago.
Jindal Stainless stated that the widen loss was caused by the sluggish global economy, depreciated Indian Rupee and the ongoing ramp-up at its stainless steel works at Odisha state.
