Ronnoco Coffee, the portfolio company of Huron Capital Partners, has acquired US Roasterie, a private label manufacturer of coffee.
This forms a part of the company's strategy to grow in terms of geographic presence and market share.
US Roasterie operates a full service roasting facility with13 packaging lines, a coffee lab, over 205,000 pounds of bin storage and over 65,000ft2 of warehouse space.
It distributes coffee to office, foodservice and convenience store markets.
Ronnoco Coffee CEO Scott Meader said: "Over the past 20 years, U.S. Roasterie has partnered with hundreds of customers in developing and supporting their private label brands.
"The addition of this facility and management team gives Ronnoco another platform through which to pursue alternate channel growth in a large and growing segment of the coffee industry, and will leverage the capabilities, systems, and outstanding customer service of Ronnoco."
Ronnoco previously acquired International Blends, Henderson Coffee, the coffee and tea business of Love Bottling Company and Biff's Coffee.
With these investments, the company has expanded its presence throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa and Kansas.
Ronnoco has witnessed around 40% increase in revenues since Huron's initial investment in 2012, through a buy-and-build approach and organic growth initiatives.
