The Spring Launch Encompasses a Host of Products and Range Extensions

The Spring launch encompasses a host of products and range extensions which seek to provide a greater choice in designing and specifying LED, plus a new driver to increase efficacy in the outdoor lighting arena.

New addition to the CoreLine Family: the affordable LED option

Part of Philips’ high-quality CoreLine LED family, the new CoreLine Downlight range can be used to replace conventional CFL downlights in general lighting applications. Whether for a new building or the renovation of an existing space, the range provides excellent quality of light as well as substantial energy and maintenance savings.

Two versions of this affordable solution are being launched: Mini 1100 lumens and Compact 2000 lumens. Available in a choice of colour temperatures – 3000K and 4000 K –, these LED downlights last three times longer than CFLs and provide a 50% energy saving. With total cost of ownership recovered within two and half years, these downlights are an attractive, sustainable solution.

Create Contrast with ExactEffect

The most striking aspect of the ExactEffect range is the multiple lens design, which highlights the new LED technology used inside. The stylish and compact design makes the spots perfect for use in supermarkets or other retail environments, to provide accent lighting in recessed and track-mounted applications.  ExactEffect aims the light exactly where it is needed, creating the right accent light effect using fewer luminaires but providing more contrast and sparkle. ExactEffect can also achieve an energy saving of 30% versus a traditional CDM solution.

LED Tube Portfolio Extended to Increase Choice and Affordability

Philips MASTER LEDtube integrates an LED light source into a traditional linear fluorescent form factor. Extending the high performance GA300 portfolio, Philips is introducing a 6ft LED tube. Offering excellent lumen packages and good energy savings, its unique design creates a perfectly uniform visual appearance which cannot be distinguished from traditional fluorescent. Ideal for use in a variety of different applications, including warehouses, offices and car parks, the product’s long lifetime of 50,000 hours minimises the hassle of re-lamping, while reducing maintenance costs.

Philips is also offering customers greater choice with the introduction of the CorePro LEDtube. This affordable LED tube solution is available in two lengths, 600mm and 1200 mm and two colour temperatures, 4000K and 6500K. Designed for optimum payment, the CorePro LEDtube has a lifetime of 30,000 hours.

Introducing Flat Xtreme, the most reliable electronic driver for HID lamps

The Xtreme proposition was designed specifically for outdoor lighting. With a lifetime of 80,000 hours (20 years) and integrated lightning surge protection, it ensures reliable, long life solutions which cater for the current need of saving costs on maintenance and energy. With the option to use any combination of controls, such as Dynadimmer and Adjustable Light Output, an energy saving of up to 40% can be achieved.

The portfolio is now changing to the new Flat Xtreme, providing enhanced benefits and a more future proof solution. Featuring all the benefits of the existing Xtreme platform, Flat Xtreme offers an increased thermal performance, resulting in an additional 20,000 hours lifetime when compared to the existing Xtreme platform, and improved EMI performance. With even more reliability and durability, Flat Xtreme can significantly reduce maintenance costs, making sure that HID lamps stay on for longer, whilst integrated controls increase the energy saving potential. With a lifetime of 100,000 hours and a warranty of 8 years, Flat Xtreme is the ideal component to create a sustainable and reliable HID system.
