New TT Ultra Quattro Concept Coupe Was Introduced By Audi

German carmaker Audi has introduced its new TT ultra quattro concept coupe prior to its global debut at the upcoming Worthersee 2013 event to be held during May 2013 in Austria.

The new concept is powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine, mated to a six speed transmission, which generates an output of 310hp and 400Nm.

The coupe can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 4.2seconds and achieves a top speed of 280km/h.

Audi deployed carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) in the concept's rear end, the centre tunnel, in the B-pillars and in the roof in addition, used magnesium components in the floor and as hinge reinforcement to trim down the overall weight.

Features of the concept coupe include air conditioning, electric window controls and a standard electromechanical parking brake, while the exterior mirrors are replaced by cameras that transmit the images directly into the digital cockpit.

Along with the concept model, Audi will also unveil its four race cars and eight series-production models at the event.
