Volvo Motor announced that Chinese cumulative sales were 8,719 in the first 2 months this year, up 31.0% year on year compared to 6,657 of the same period last year.
In February, because of the Spring Festival, sales dates were less than the same period of last year, and the growh rate was lower than that of January. Volvo Chinese sales were 3,943 in February, grew little compared to 3,940 of February, 2012.
In January this year, Volvo Chinese sales were 4,776, up 75.8% compared to the same period of 2012.
In addition, in the first 2 months, Volvo’s largest market-USA grew 0.2% year on year, up from 9,725 to 9,742. Chinese market, over pass Sweden, was the Volvo’s second largest market behind USA.
