Design-to-print graphics services provider SGS International has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Southern Graphic Systems acquired Stevenson Color in the US.
Stevenson Color, which provides graphics services to branded consumer products companies and retailers, will continue to operate under the Stevenson Color name.
SGS president and chief executive officer Hank Baughman said the company's interest in Stevenson Color was driven by its workforce culture and the value proposition it offers to the retail market.
"SGS and Stevenson Color share guiding principles in that we are intensely focused on the customer and exceeding customer expectations is our number one priority," Baughman said.
SGS International offers design-to-print graphic services to the international consumer products packaging industry primarily in North America, Europe and Asia. The company was recently acquired by Onex in a deal that closed on 17 October 2012.
