Sterling Insurance has renewed its partnership contract with DAS to extend supply of legal expenses cover to its customers.
As part of the agreement, DAS will offer legal expenses cover across the company's personal and commercial product range, as reported by Post Online.
Sterling product and outsource relationship manager Derek Kemp said the legal expenses cover is gaining prominence, and noted that the company provides cover on a number of schemes, referring the example of nurseries and childminders.
"Childminders, being self-employed, find access to expert legal assistance to pursue debt recovery and contract disputes cover extremely useful in pursuing non-payment of disputes over their childminding fees," Kemp added.
The new contract follows a similar agreement signed between DAS and Hiscox last week for provision of personal and commercial legal expenses, and motor breakdown cover.
Sterling Insurance is a provider of life insurance, payment protection, commercial and household insurance to different market sectors across the UK.
