Benson Group Cooperates with P4ck to Create Innovative Pack Design Carrybar

Benson Group, UK's privately owned carton printers, partnered with the young designers at P4CK, the UK-based packaging innovators to create innovative pack design CarryBar.

The CarryBar, P4CK's new drinks carrier, was launched during the England vs Australia match at Twickenham's 90,000 capacity stadium on 17 November at the QBE Internationals;

CarryBar is viewed as a suitable solution for both sporting events and music festivals, where larger quantities of liquid refreshments are bought.

The patent pending cardboard carrier enables transportation of four pints of beer, according to the company.

The team at P4CK is trying to create pack designs for FMCG, retail and leisure markets.

Benson Group's design head and marketing manager Nikki Clark said they have taken over Loughborough University's Industrial Design & Technology Department's seven design students into its business, following a successful collaboration with them for three years.

"Currently we have two students working with us, who will obtain twelve months of real-life work experience in a busy packaging environment - this is something that will hopefully form an important stepping stone for them in their packaging design career," Clark said.

Benson Group is one of the UK's leading privately owned printed carton suppliers, producing packaging products for both the food and pharmaceutical industries for a wide range of UK and European customers.
