Bosch Packaging Technology has introduced two capsule filling machines, GKF 702 for small and medium-sized batches as well as GKF 2500 equipped with a micro dosing station.
The new design of GKF 702 provides improved ergonomics and accessibility to meet the growing needs in pharmaceutical industry for flexibility, according to the company.
The unit can also be used in the lab for small batches, parameters required for future production operations can be comprehensively simulated and defined.
GKF 2500 is suitable for flexible processing of a wider range of products with a higher yield.
Bosch Packaging Technology product manager Melanie Beck said the GKF 702 offers the same flexibility and user-friendly operation as the GKF 701.
"This makes it possible to fill very small batches for pharmaceutical or clinical purposes under realistic production conditions," Beck added.
"The GKF 2500 meets all requirements for pharmaceutical production and offers manufacturers a gentle filling process with need-based application."
