Quantum OPS, a provider of orthopedic technologies, has closed $1.05m Series A financing round.
Quantum will use the finance to accelerate sales of its Quantum Shoulder Positioning system, which features both single-use disposable and re-usable elements and enables clinicians to immobilize, stabilize, and position patients of all sizes for shoulder surgery.
The company will also use the proceeds to launch its new products including a surgical arm positioner, an arthroscopic knee positioner, and other positioning accessories, which are currently under development.
The financing round was led by the Pittsburgh Life Science Greenhouse (PLSG) and the PLSG Accelerator Fund, with additional funding from multiple institutional and angel investors.
