Anderson & Vreeland will now offer Luscher drum and flat-bed computer-to-plate systems for photoengraving, expanding the company's line-up of CTP systems.
Swiss-based manufacturer Luscher has appointed Anderson & Vreeland as its exclusive distributor of CTP systems for photoengraving sold across the United States and Canada.
Anderson & Vreeland vice president and general manager Therein Lyon said the Lüscher systems with the line-up of computer-to-plate system can serve a broader range of applications and markets.
"As we look to the future A & V will continue to introduce technical innovation and forward-thinking solutions," Lyon said.
Lüscher manufactures the MultiDX a flat-bed CTP system, suitable for photoengraving with resolutions as high as 10,000 dpi. Its Continuous Calibration Technology (CCT) monitors the laser diodes to guarantee constant, standardized imaging and production reliability.
According to the company, it offers a unique combination of drum and flat-bed CTP systems and has experience gained from over 2,000 installations worldwide.
