EMS provider Lite-On Technology has reported consolidated revenues of NT$20.182 billion (US$673 million) for December, increasing 2.97% sequentially and 16.07% on year. Fourth-quarter 2013 consolidated revenues reached NT$59.231 billion, growing 3.51% sequentially and 11.74% on year, while consolidated revenues for 2013 totaled NT$212.822 billion, decreasing 1.61% on year.
It reported sequential growth for December sales from the smartphone- and tablet-use CCMs (compact camera modules), which rose 10%, SSDs, which grew nearly 40%, and LED components and lighting products, which increased over 40%.
Lite-On expects a sequential decrease of 10-15% in consolidated revenues for first-quarter 2014 mainly due to fewer working days.
